How will people find my post?
All the content on lookabootye is organised around tags (think keywords). Some tags, like community and topic, are created by us. Every time you post content, you'll be asked to select a relevant community (where the restaurant is, what part of the county your post talks about, where you live). You'll also be asked to chose which broad topic your post applies to- like Food and Drink, or Music. You can select multiple communities and topics by holding down the control (Ctrl) key on your keyboard while clicking on each selection.
You can also create as many Tags as you like. Tags help other people find your content, so it's best to be as specific as possible. Let's say for example you're making a blog post about a new shop,The Devon Deli. You'd select say "Menstrie" for the community, "Food and Drink" and "Shopping" for the topics, and then add some descriptive tags to help people find your post. You'd start with the name of the new shop, The Devon Deli, and add tags like baking, bread, pasta and produce. The search facility on the site uses these tags to pull related information together so your post will be displayed whenever someone searches for any of the tags you enter.
We also provide lists of the latest stories, blogs and comments on the front page of the site so people can easily get your newest postings.
