Part 4 - Inserting you Photo
Great we have a photo id now let's go and test it out.
- Go to lookabootye on your browser and choose a personal blog entry in create content. Enter a title, anything reasonable will do
Now in the body type the following
[flickr-photo:id=
now either right click your mouse and choose paste or use Ctrl V. The number you copied earlier should be inserted
[flickr-photo:id=1009352630
now lets finish off with
,size=m] (remembering the comma!) to end up with
[?flickr-photo:id=1009352630,size=m] (without the question mark!)
- Scroll down and click preview, you should now see your photo in all its glory.
There we have it, a bit long winded I know but at least we all got there in the end.
Aaah but wait a minute beady, I hear from the back of the county, what if my photo is old and I cant see it on lookabootye's wonderful wizadry?
Well all you have to do is open another browser window and goto to flickr. Sign in and search out the photo you want. Click on the photo to display it and it's url will be in the address bar of your browser. Now highlight and copy the number at the end of the url, just like we did before.
Now you have the number, follow the steps in this part and your back with the rest of the class.
Well that about wraps it up, I look forward to seeing your images up on site, if you have any issues post in the help forum or drop me an email using the contact facility on site.
