Andy Scott`s latest addition to Clackmannanshire has arrived and is on site at the side of Asda and the new train station. You can see it from the bus on the newly re-instated King street(ring road)!It is a lovely depiction of man and boy.I think looking at this piece will bring back a time(in those old enough to remember!!!!)when the industries were the reason these towns existed.

River SpiritThose of you with sharp eyes may have noticed a few changes around the county recently. Namely the pieces of Public Art which have appeared in various locations. I think the most commented on piece is "River Spirit",a beautiful sculpture of a woman holding the River Forth aloft.

An exhibition is to be held in the Loch Lomond Waterfront luxury lodges development. Main Street , Balmaha from 22nd June-12th September.open 9-5pm mon-sat
Set in beautiful surroundings, this is an ideal place to showcase the talents of the artists who are all from Clackmannanshire and the surrounding areas.

Over the past few months I have been working closely with Tom Murray and Stuart Hepburn,co writers in residence for Clackmannanshire.What an asset they have turned out to be.Would-be writers are flocking out of the closet with all kinds of ideas ,looking for advice or help to take the next step.

Got to thinking that budding photographers and our more artistic members out there would probably like to post images in articles and blogs. Well here goes.
